Subscribing to the mailing list
You can subscribe to the Hercules Information Server mailing list for your product family by sending an e-mail message to:
listserv@hercules.com
with the following line in the body of the message:
subscribe [listname] [your name]
Your name can be your full name, just your last name or whatever you like. It doesn't have to be your e-mail address (we get that by looking at the From: line on your message). By the way, we'll keep your e-mail address private.
Currently, there are five mailing lists available, three for our three major product families, and two special lists for our latest products. The listnames are as follows:
stingray - Stingray Family (all Stingray products)
dyn128 - Dynamite 128/Video
dynamite - Dynamite Family (all other Dynamite products)
term3d - Terminator 3D
terminator - Terminator Family (all other Terminator products)
You may subscribe to one or more lists in a single message. For example, to subscribe to both the Stingray and Terminator mailing lists, your message might look like this:
To: listserv@hercules.com
Subject:
subscribe stingray John Doe
subscribe terminator John Doe
An automated reply will acknowledge your subscription. When a new version of software, or other important information, is available, you'll automatically receive a new Update Mailing List Bulletin.
Cancelling a subscription
To cancel a subscription to the mailing list, send an e-mail message to:
listserv@hercules.com
with the following line in the body of the message:
unsubscribe [listname]
You can cancel a subscription for one or more lists in a single message.
Update Mailing List Back Issues
Back issues of all our mailing lists are available for viewing or downloading on our web site.
